If you are going to surf you should think about getting an FAE. I have one on mine and another owner I have ridden with has an 08ve but does not have one and the fumes while surfing are horrible.

I have thought about it, my new boat is way better than my old boat but I shouldn't use that as an excuse

You referring to the FAE? If so you get them from Larry, http://www.freshairexhaust.com/. They are not necessarily cheap but worth it. Both fumes and noise.
