I towed with my cover from TX to WA through CA and OR in the winter, it did great. I had to wash it when I got here though.

Is that cover the same type of material? Is it red? Any pics of it on your boat? I was thinking about picking one of those up but it seemed too good to be true.
AJ - have you checked with Tige for a factory one? Or several Tige dealers? I picked up one from TN Tige when they were closing out...think I paid like $40 for one that fits perfectly. I think probably quite a few dealers have some in the back, because they forget to give them to the boat buyer (I know that mine wasn't given to me when my boat was delivered).

Why would you want a footprint shaped rug with "Tige" on it? Who thought that a footprint was a good idea?

For the sharkskin, that's probably about right. Evolution is probably not any cheaper.

Go to local upholstery shop and find out how much it would cost to have them fabricate a custom one with Sunbrella. Might even be cheaper...
I plan to get a local guy re-build mine out of sunbrella when the time comes. i love the factory cover with the strap winch on the back, I hate snaps.

Just came in from working on the car.

It looks like the problem is that it is leaking ATF where the CV joint hooks to the tranny. Any body have any experience with this?

I am going to take it to a shop in the morning to see what they tell me. The car is not worth much, was just planning on using it for my daughter to drive in six months.

Probably just a seal I had to replace on my tempo once and my side x side

That was what I wondered but don't have any experience. Is that a pull the cv out to do or the tranny? Expensive?

I would rather work on my boat and spend the money on my boat.

I would tow with it if I had the cutouts moved forward for the front cleats. Dont matter how tight I pull the ratchet straps the cover will work up above the rubrail when you tow above 65mph

thats the original cover Ewok, I have the red cross cover in the box still, I need to take it in and have the rear tower cutouts moved???? they are about a foot off. I think it is because I have a E series tower for a 22Ve on my Z1 but I'm not sure
