The step up is clearly in the center and the seats are for him to set his fat azz on. How do you lower a rub rail? The boat has a 27" draft, that's 3" more than the VLX and the same as a 247. I'm just glad it's not as ugly as he thought.

I'm clam now and would take the "fat" out, but you hoes quoted me. I could make commits about looks of any boat out there, but typically keep them to myself. The transom seating is nothing new for Malibu, it came out on the 247 last. I liked the walkover on the VLX, but Malibu didn't ask me. From what other 247 owners tell me, they love the transom seating for a day on the water.
