Yeah it's heartbreaking. The community is pulling together and I'm making my Oatmeal cookies tonight to add to a bake sale to benefit the Family.

Unfortunately, well he lit the house on fire with gas.

They said he spread out about 10 gallons of gas throughout the house. He donated all the kids toys and books the day before.

The local sheriff is looking into the 911 call and the dispatcher who fielded it. The caller was a court appointed social worker and the dispatcher said the police needed to respond to serious calls first.

OK, im a court appointed social worker, the dad took the kids and locked out the social worker and the house smells like gas and the kids are screaming! Whats not serious

Yesterday in Denver a dog was chasing a coyote on a somewhat frozen lake / pond and it fell in the water. Firefighters resuced the dog. Well this morning the news had the dog and owner on to meet the fireman. The dog bit the news anchors lip. Ouch.
