Didn't want to but had to cut some of the zip ties on the wiring harness

I don't think there is much rhyme or reason to how the zip tie the wires

As much as I haul my boat I would rather be prepared and not need it then need it and not prepared.

I was wondering if just cutting up some 2x8's would work as well. Might be heavier.

That's what I use. I takes 3 on mine to get the other off the ground.
