Maj - Looks like the snow is moving south. WOO HOO!! I just got a text from my buddy up in North Lake Tahoe. He said the snow is moving in. I just checked weather and we are expecting 1-2 feet this weekend. Just like up in Seattle the Cali transplants won't know how to drive in it.

This is what happened the last time we got some snow in Reno. HAHAHA!

chpthril - It was nuts here in the valley yesterday. The fire was about 15 miles south, but because of the wind you would have thought it was right behind my house. Visibility was down to about a mile. My house is literally at the foothills of the Sierra mountains, and I couldn't even see the tops of them yesterday.

That's three major fires here in the last month and a half.

No kidding! I saw the video on the news last night, looked like flame throwers!!!

I should have taken a few pictures. I can see most of the northern valley from my back yard. Didn't think about it.... The fire fighters got lucky, cause the snow / rain moved in around 10 last night.
