Actually, that white you see is an optical illusion. It's actualy the power outlet at the end of the hall.

That is what I tell my wife. If we have to sell I don't want to lose a sell because of the paint color.

I don't find painting that hard, you just have to use the right tools. My wife and I have painted many rooms and the entire exterior of our house in TX (700 bucks worth of flexible stucco paint for that one). You have to spend the cash on a good cutting brush for the edging. I don't mask as much as I used to, I've got a good technique with the cutting brush. I just hate textured walls, they make it hard to get a real nice edge. All texture does is mask a poor sheet rock job.

I agree... Plus it's a PAIN to get the paint to spread nice, and I end up adding another coat.
