It seems that many are improving their transmissions to help with mpg.

we have about 1200 miles on the boost and the only hwy trip we have made so far I got about 15.6mpg with it, all interstate up to MT and back and I had cruise set at 82 all the way.
Ours has the 3:73 gears

The Boost is fixed BTW $1850 was the damage, new bumper and tow hitch + paint and labor.
Wife is happy, they put her in a impala while it was getting fixed. i was not impressed and neither was she...

I got my engine position sensor installed this morning.It was 26* outside and that is freezing to me.

I've noticed that Ford engines still are under the hood in most cases
