3.31 will give you better highway mileage but may cause extra downshifting while towing in hilly areas whereas the 3.73 will eat up more gas but you can probably leave it in the top gear on the hills and keep the rpm's down.

I agree The tow haul switch really works better on the newer models also. I noticed it on my 2010 and now the wifes ecoboost
