Im lost without the PW thread!!!!

Put together a box for my friend's son yesterday for one of those oval Boston Acoustics speakers. It was built to the exact specs that Boston gives for their "max spl" box. I was NOT impressed. It just doesn't hit that hard, it's loud but it's not that bass that you feel in your chest. Tuned at 38hz.

We hooked it up inside my friends Epic to his Alpine PDX 1000. It was cool because we had a 12" W7 JL and also a JL 13TW5 (flat woofer). I would rank them like this: 1)W7 2)TW5 3)Boston. The Boston is definitely louder than the TW5 but it's just no comparison to that W7 and they are direct competitors in the marketplace.

We noticed the wetsounds sound alot better with the extended bimini off.When we play the ipod loud now it sounds and travels much better.
