two years ago I took my daughter trick or treating for the first time, she was 1. In Del Rio it was warm and there were quite a few hottie moms dressed out as beautiful strawberry shortcake whores. Of course my wife and inlaws were with us too, so it was very difficult to get a nice look and fully appreciate these beautiful examples of all that is great on Halloween. My father in law did take notice of course and we reminisced over a beer that night

I pulled my impeller when I winterized and it's in good condition, I'll put it back in the spring. My boat was a leftover so it sat at the dealer for a year and it had 1.2 hours on it when I got it home. When I checked the original impeller this past spring it was dry rotted and was looking like it might break up soon so I put a new one in. I think if a boat sits and the impeller dries out and doesn't get stored properly it will go bad. If you use the boat like an average user and pull it out for winter storage it can last many years. But peace of mind comes in many prices for different folks, it's not wrong to change it regularly if it gives you peace of mind.
I agree, but there is not one right or wrong decision. It's whatever makes the boat owner have peace of mind.Knowing it's done every year or knowing it had to finally be done. Both are fine points.
