Just because one person says you have to do something, doesn't mean you have to. I read on here year after year on the impellers and how you have to change them every season so I bought one my first season and it's still new in the box. I check it every season to make sure it's still pliable and in good condition and it's now at ~300 hours. I will change it this spring.

I didn't change mine till it had 425 hours and it was still good.You should do what gives you peace of mind.
