I do feel bad for him. Granted I have not ridden a TWP or IS but for a fraction of the cost, even cheaper than factory boards, they seem like a good deal, threat.
Granted I will never be a pro but I can't say that it wouldn't be a pro board. I could have gotten a Lakewakes board that was lighter for competition but I didn't need it.
Maybe it makes it so that the bigger names now have to justify their prices if the boards are similiarly made.

I guess another thought is that some of the other manufacturers would only sponsor the event if certain boards were there.
That is not a unique tactic. I have seen that throughtout many industries.Comment
