I flew down to Vegas yesterday to refuel some F-22s on an excercise. When I landed I had a voicemail that said my short notice 2 week deployment was bumped up by a week, now I'm leaving on the 25th of October so I get to miss the Spokane Ski Patrol Ski Swap and Halloween too

I'm only pissed about it because it was some damn shoe clerk who F-ed up and didn't plan out the deployment requirements. I'm heading into the office now to bang some heads and find out who screwed up. My tolerance level for incopetance is at an all time low.

I think that is why it's scheduled for Nov. The US gran prix is usually just after Canada, and that is usually June.

I was affraid it wouldn't happen at all, I've not seen good reports coming from speed about the race promoter and their ability to pull it off.

The only positive is that I get tax free for Oct too, that makes 7 months of tax free for being gone 8 months of the year. No tax free for the month I was in Moses Lake
