We don't either and some committee members are complaining. Over the 70+ years the Troop has been active they have gone back and forth, but always go back to appointments.

I think that making an appointment with the soon to be new SPL and that they understand the responsibilities is better than someone getting thrown in that doesn't want to be there nor will they do the work.

Agree. We do interviews, then have them and their parents sign agreements with their responsibilities.

I guess I could start with my skills are not even less than average, they rank with needs improvement but I go faster than that.

Great idea. I failed to mention that we have to have the parents on board so they know what to expect.

We don't want this - Whay are you making Little Johhny do all the work.

We are not. Plus we have asked him to pass along the work. He just needs to be able to report the progress and make sure that everything is accounted for and ready.

I've mentioned in many of these clean wake threads, my son rides at 21.5 - 22.0 and 65'.

Actually only just went to 65'. He was at 60' all during INT this year and speed was closer to 21.5. So much of speed depends on rope length though.

My husband went to All Pro Marine when we were looking for our Tige, but we ended up getting ours at Nelems Marine in Jasper, AL. I have heard a couple negative comments bout All Pro, but have never really dealt with them.
