Nice, I'm still using the 40 which is 10mp.

10mp was perfectly fine with me, but I really wanted the video. The 40 is an awesome body also. We have the Rebal S 35mm and new it was a good body and new that our 20x85 and 70x300 lenses would work the the Rebal DSLR. So far, im pleased. The continuous shooting if pretty fast, but works best with the lens on manual focus. I took some shots of Talltige and Turbo9 boarding, and a couple where blured

Focus is tough on action shots, like you say manual is prob best or pick a single point on auto.

Freeze alert had me concerned.

Plus the fact that the furnace decided not to work so there wasn't going to be any heat from the house to the garage.

I bought my 40D used, here local and came across the lens later.
