It is a big lake. The water is pretty. Lots of sandy beaches. The water is cold. The water is rough except for early in the morning and late at night on the south side of the lake.

I really like it for letting the kids play on the beaches, water, tubing, and jet skiing. For wakeboarding and surfing I don't know that it is the best.

I think we are having a family reunion there next year around the 24th of July.

Guess it depends on what your looking for. All the inland guys meaning Jeff page, Mark Sher and lance are riding the pro. James doesn't even ride the production flyboy board in compitition.

Mountains all around. The beaches really aren't great. It is used to store water that the farmers use. The nice thing is that we never ran into many boats and the shape of the lake makes it so the waves disapate quick. We had some great water this year around the first of July.

I have some pictures that I took of my boat and it shows some of the area. I will see if one is in my album.

In my album the two pictures of the boat in the water are at Newton.

Not much of a Tige dealer in Utah so you wouldn't want a tour. They are in SLC out on the far west side in an industrial area. It was hard to find. When I went in there were just a couple of kids, 18 - 21 ish. They had two boats if I remember correctly and one wakeboard. They also had Artic Cat or Polaris stuff.

Wouldn't be surprised if they change dealers again next year.

I guess I'm looking for a board that can handle all the tricks I might possibly be capable of and for my wife as well. I wouldn't mind paying for a more expensive board that can do it all vs a more high performance board for me and a smaller one for my wife. I know it's very hard to get something like that but I'm looking anyway. I have no aspirations of riding in any competitions, but I would like to try and get some air and do some spins and just have fun carving up the wake.

That looks like a quaint little spot. I noticed on Bear Lake there are not many coves or fingers to hide from the rough traffic water, but the facilities at the marina on the western shore caught my eye. It wouldn't be as big as a mead meet and greet anyhow. I would take friday and Monday off of work if we did something like this. I might even be able to talk WAB into coming down, then you guys might be able to understand him a little better. He means well, he just can't talk too well through the keyboard and is a little long winded in his explainations.

Who said that I need a bigger boat for all the hoes coming down here?

What the hell do you want? X-80 or MC300?

So, after soccer practice tonight, stopped by a taco shop with the kids for dinner (felt too lazy to cook). There was a big commotion across the street with fire engines, police, etc. Went in and ate.

When we came out after, one of the engines was parked near our car. So went over with the boys to ask them what the deal was. Turned out that we knew the four firefighters on the engine. Boys ended up climbing in/on/around the engine, putting on their gear, etc. They had a blast
