That was what I thought, so I don't know how you would go about choosing different fins.

Good idea. We should try to set something up this spring. My wife is not into camping so there would have to be a hotel nearby.

Does the board make a difference as to how different fins act?
Fins make a huge difference. The scimitars in my board made it very twitchy. I have a inland surfer skim board that I hated till I changed fins and I have been enjoying it now.

That's what sucks its a guessing game. They are so expensive its hard to want to take a chance on the unknown.

x2. I'm looking at all the quad fin options for the sweet spot on Towanza that it looks like its a better deal to get the IS Flyboy (if you want a quad fin board).

Newton Dam. There are several other lakes in that area

There is primitive camping, no cost or several hotels about 20 minutes away.

Which Bear Lake? The one on the UT / ID border?

Where I didn't demo my wake or surf board, that is what I felt like, a guessing game.

Sweet spot or sweet spot pro? The sweet spot with all 4 fins in does great in a straight line but doesn't turn well. The other problem is it likes to pearl meaning nose dive, I had a hard time on it. I'm trying to get a session on the sweet spot pro.

I meant the pro, the new one with more rocker in the nose to avoid pearling. With 2 fins its 200 bucks cheaper than the flyboy, but if I'm going to spend 150 bucks on fins I might as well get the flyboy.

yup, its kind of centrally located, in the big picture sense.
