It's a good video but I still don't like the fixed bow filler cusion. To me its more vinyl to get dirty and torn and it makes it a little harder to walk up to the bow and reach over to clip the tow strap to.

I use that area to store my boards durning traveling and have my good surf board there during boating, no surf racks yet. We also go up through there to drop or pick up the driver of the truck.

I guess I would need to test it to see how I like it.

I like it. Surf Wave looks short and Tall. Need bow weight or more speed.

That was what I thought, but I haven't been doing this for long. I am sure Ragboy will be able to tell us what it needs.

Is the bow filler standard on the new RZ2 as well?

Yes they are putting the cooler up there so old cooler location can be filled with custom surf sac.I don't understand all these huge wakes and waves.You must first develop good habits and technique then go big.

I think if I had a smaller wake with less push I may not have been able to go ropeless.

That was me, it took me over a year to go ropeless on a different boat with a smaller wave and less push. I recently found my old launchpad bags and filled them up and loaded the boat with people and surfing is so easy on it! I can get pretty far back and come forward at will.

Certainly makes it easier. I actually learned with 0 ballast, we just used 2 people on the surf side

The first time I tried surfing was 7-8 years ago behind a Toyota DD with 700 lbs and 3 peps in the boat. Used an old big Liquid Force Wakeboard. We had no clue what we were doing. From speed to turning in circles.
The big wave we have behind the RZ allowed me to go ropeless in one try. Did not last long but within a few weeks I could ride forever ropeless.
