I'd love to, you'll will be close to all the good spots Chelan, Banks Lake and I think Crecent bar is over that way too. Do you ever get over towards Seattle?

We haven't been yet. My deployment slowed down my exploration of the PNW this summer. I'm going to be stuck in Moses Lake, I probably won't even be "allowed" to be out on my boat, but I'll risk it as long as I'm on cell coverage and I keep a standby car at the launch ramp.

I think they were suprised because I might look like a young punk wakeboard kid in a fancy boat that doesn't know how to drive it. They were suprised that I was nice, polite, had all my paperwork, and helped another boat dock right behind mine. I've been on the water since I was 6 months old. Not with an inboard boat but the basic principle is the same.

So that was you on the ramp that day? I was really surprised how well you backed a boat at 6 months old. YOU DA MAN!

We just use the slip for the weekends and our vacation weeks.The most time the boat is in the water is one week.Usually goes in on friday night and comes out sunday.

Still no electricity,but the gas station a mile away has electricity.Dominion Virginia Power reports say that 75% of the power will be restored by Wednesday and 95% by Friday.

The link to the floating boat lift uses solar power to charge the battery, so you could still get out on your boat. Just watch out for debris now. Last hurricane that came through TX left a lake full of cactus needles to worrk about. I was just about to jump in the water one day when I looked down and noticed all the cactus bits floating around the boat, as far as I could see. It was really wierd.

The lake we go to is about a hour north of us.It didn't get hit as bad.When we went up there sunday the water was slick as glass.
