The bow ladder would be good for my kids to have another way to swim and climb into the boat, and make it easier to climb into the boat when it's in my garage, and when I have to climb out over the bow to finish winching the boat up on the trailer.

A lot of the Bu purest don't like it at all, but I think it will do well.

They don't allow you to "power load" your boat on the trailer in ID or WA

I can see that, especially with the kids. I think you can get non-skid traction up there.

Ah, well now you are making sense

I like my ballast system. I have the 400# pairs and one 1100# sac.
              When I surf:
1100# goes in the port locker and a 400# sac in the hallway.

When we wakeboard for my 9 year old son:
1100# sac in the hallway filled to about 900-1000lbs and rear lockers empty.

When my nephew rides my wake:
1100# sac in the hallway as full as we can get it, probably about 1000lbs and one 400# sac in each rear locker.

He's used to my brother's 2003 X-Star (last X-Star hull with conventional bow - and possibly unarguably one of the best wakes still today) and he still really likes my wake with that simple setup. I'd like to weight it more and see what he says then
              Waiting for another good one!

                Hopefully it's reinforced up there.

Probably, and when it does it will take that POS metal dangle with it off the back of the boat too

it will do well, I just prefer the traditional bow style myself

I like the looks of the pickle fork also, just not for me

I was told by the invasive species inspectors between WA and ID that you have to float your boat on and off the trailer, no using the engine to slide it up a little to avoid winching it up. I looked it up and it's on the regulations website for both states.

Didn't that woody wakeboat have a wedge

I like he Axis and I would imagine you could spec out an RZ2 pretty stripped down to compete with the A22 if you wanted to keep it price point.

Unfortunately for me, I won't be looking at a Tige for my next boat without any dealer, or manufacturer support less than 300 miles from me. What are the specs on that MXZ anyway? I can't find it on buboats.com
                              Waiting for another good one!

It did, and a bow thrusters to boot! Iwndr if using the bow thrusters while surfing would add extra list to the boat to make a better wake...
