Yeah WA did a complete 360 from when he started posting. Even after riding Ragboy's boat with 3000+lbs I'm perfectly content with the 1400 I run. I think WA should have learned how to surf before he built the ultimate wave.

Don't get me wrong, we weight the boat with 3000 pounds, but not on one side. I also don't have any experience in a 24 footer.

ive ridden in a star with the 2 750s in the back,twin 400s up front, 250 in the middle, stock and 6 people+ it was very scarey...the rub rail up front kissed the water when throttling down, cant imagine having that kind of weight on one side

The higer divisons I try to add 1250 to stock, running 2500 pounds.

Are there numbers on the sides? Fin changes made huge differences in my board. I'm riding futures 3/2/1's and like them a lot.

They are a Future Vector II FSG1 415 and Future Scimitar 451.

My son was in one weighted just like that, plus they had some lead. He said it took water over the nose almost every stop.

I'm not sure he fills it up all the way, he put up dividers at different intervals under the seats to manage how much water he wants to fill it up to. I'll find out on Sat though

He also doesn't have extra people ballast that Ragboy has. I don't think it will be slammed more than Ragboys boat. He usually rides with his wife, son, and a friend/coach down the lake.

The lake he rides on is very narrow and long so it's not very rough on windy days and it's easy to avoid other towboats.

in my friends x-25, we run 750 in back corner, 750 under seat, 500 under passenger console, 500 lbs in the middle, and i thought that was insane

He also follows Ragboys technique of slamming it down to the rub rail just above the waterline, so it shouldn't be any lower than Ragboys RZ2.

But it is a weird 180, being so paranoid about the tube towing but ok with overloading the boat a bit from the placard.
