Last weekend was a bad one for sunglasses in the dingle family.
First I sat on and shattered my pair of Costa Del Mar polarized boat shades.
Then my wife dropped her Von Zippers into the marina, at which time she promptly yelled at me to jump in and retrieve them. I run over to where she was standing, pointing in the water at something dark, sinking. I didn't know what she dropped, but from the panic in her voice I thought that it was her wallet or phone or something. I jumped into the water (between a houseboat and the dock), then realized I had to open my eyes to see. So my contact lenses immediately came out of my eyes, leaving me blind, empty handed, and disoriented. I went to surface and banged my head on the dock and had a moment of panic before calming down and finding a way up.
Lastly I'd like to thank my dog that sits beside and is the only one that actually listens to my never ending, long winded explanations and only because I have him tied to a leash and he can't leave...
