We had a pinched wire in the trailer and I believe that caused fuses to pop. We popped fuses in an 06 Avalanche, 08 Tahoe, and an 09 3500HD. The reverse lamps worked on all of them even with the popped fuses so I think the fuse was separate for the trailer.

            interesting...

I'll call my local dealership and ask them I guess. Place your bets now:

Will the service coordinator help me out over the phone or make me come in?

Yes, my manscaping is long overdue as well... now that you mention it. How did YOU know though?!

I love getting new tires! Shopping for new ones for my truck...probably going with Toyo Open Country M/T's this time. The Nitto Terragrapplers didn't even last 30k miles.

Thanks for watching, Tim. I just ordered one for me and one for my wife. Danged good deal.

I have the Toyo M/T on my truck. I bought them and Les Schwab and got into a discussion over sipping them with the manager. I didn't want to pay for it and was skeptical because I heard the Toyo's wear abnormally fast.

He offered to sipe them for free if I would have an open mind about it. I gotta say, wow! I have 30K miles on them now and they look outstanding! Plus, the sipping made them so much quieter than my friends that don't have them sipped. Go to Les Schwab if you have one near you!

I have a leaking prop shaft (barely drips) so I pull my plug at the launch when I'm wiping down. Water doesn't come out, but when I leave and climb the levee out I'll sit on the incline for about 2 minutes while it all drains out.
                        Waiting for another good one!

We don't have a Les Schwab around here but thanks for the info! I have heard that siping them helps with snow too (not sure if that is a factor where you live though). I had Toyo Open Country A/T (same tread pattern as Nitto Terragrappler) and I sold the wheels/tires with 52k miles on them and they were at 5/32 tread still but that was on a gas truck and I have been told that diesels wear the tires faster than a gasser due to the torque.

Depends on how heavy your foot is... I guarantee a lot of gassers are wearing down their tires faster than I wear mine
