But my friends convinced me to take the houseboat out again with them. I guess I got all winter to clean up my yard.

What locks out the trailer brakes when you put it in reverse? I'm assuming it's the 12V signal for the reverse lamps.

For some reason I don't get 12V on my plug when I put my truck in reverse. I use that little key thing when I put it in reverse - and I want this fixed properly now that I got new tires

Five - Have you checked your fuse on the truck for the reverse lamps? Also, check the connections of your wires in the wiring harness on the trailer.

I didn't bother looking for the fuse, since my reverse lamps on my truck work. But does the trailer have a separate fuse for that signal?
