I thought they force you up a division because w2w 3/bs 180 is intermediate trick list, I don't have those on lock yet so I'm not gunna worry about it yet (not trying to claim just curious how this works) but for an example would I be pushed up a division? I'm confused as to how they judge tricks, so if I did a novice contest and did a heel front 180 w2w and then surfaced 180 with a toe side w2w grab, that would be 3 tricks in my run and therefore half? So id hafta do switch wake jumps to get the most points out of my run right?

Nope, did you read the trick list for Novice and the trick list for Intermediate? There are only 2 non-inverted tricks in the Intermediate trick list.
In Novice you get 2 passes and you are scored on your best 12 tricks. Doesn't matter if you do 7 tricks on pass one and 5 on pass 2 or 11 on pass 1 and 10 on pass you, you are scored on your 12 best. Go to intleague.com and on the left column there is a link to their rule book. It's a fancy shmancy flip page digital document, but read through it. You'll get all the info you need.
Plus, if you get at least 6 tricks in on pass two, you can throw a "wild card" trick. That's a trick in a division above yours. If you land it, you get 1/2 the tricks value up to 200 points. My son landed an Indy Grab in Jr. Entro last weekend. 400 pt trick, 1/2 = 200pts.

ahhhhhh that makes more sense, my brother half explained the rule book to me but it sounds like novice would be perfect for me until I learn inverts, are they lots of fun?
