Looong day yesterday - 16 hours at the lake. Started out with a nice thunderstorm. Great weather forecast

Lot of the day hanging on our friends' houseboat, as they had a son celebrating his birthday. Got in some boarding, some skiing at dusk, and some nighttime surfing. Wireless, much less

Ok, maybe I understand the benefits better now of transom LEDs and tower lights. It was dark as chit behind our boat without any kind of lighting - although the full moon helped.

And now I'm having to replace a dead battery in the Armada. Damn - living in the desert kills batts. Usually only get 2-3 years tops on autos.

Oh - wife tweaked her knee on a ski crash last night. Hopefully nothing too bad, but she says it is really sore today.

ugh, now I need to run out to the marina to clean the boat and haul back the rest of the stuff we left on board

good thing that my wife is working so I can do all this alone

pretty funny - our friends with the houseboat have a jet boat they use for watersports...including "surfing"

they don't bother using ballast, run fast as hell (prob 15-16 mph), and just lean way back on the rope the whole time...like chp said, it's like watching someone wakeskate on a very short rope

he tried a run last night on ours and said "It's like a whole different feeling." Ya think?
