A lot is going to depend on your coverage in SLC or where ever your new territory is going to be.

My sprint works good there but I don't know if they have 4G in SLC, never checked.

Sprint has the hot spot cards. I think that verizon does as well. Don't know about at&t.

You will have to compare coverage versus cost differences. One thing on cost, how much data are you limited to? I would check with people in your area to see what reception they like or are good with. Here in Denver I had heard that AT&T started having bad zones based on usage. I am not a AT&T user just what I heard.

AT&T is prepping to roll out 4G in Calif. Not sure about your area. Verizon has the best for internet in my area, again based on coverage but probably won't once 4G is rolled out with AT&T

This is something you have to figure out yourself since it's going to be territorial issues that decide it for you. When I was shopping for one I had a salesperson come to my home and we tested them all at the same time. I would suggest that.
