Did you ever figure out something to stop the floodwaters into your vent when loaded for surf?

No, and I paid for it too... I got so much water all over my engine because my brother knows how to slow down properly but he never does.

I have an idea and just need to implement it. Maybe this afternoon after work I'll look into that.

I was annoyed this weekend. Forecast had called for very light winds both mornings. Got out there 7:00 Sat, and it was already whitecaps as far as the eye could see. Tried a quick wb run in a less blown out area, but gave up after about two minutes. Turned into just a tube session for the kiddos.

Same thing on Sun - called our friends at the marina at 6:00, and they said it was a-blowin' again. Didn't even bother going.

So does mine. She refused to get on the boat when everyone piled on from our houseboat. I'll never go out on my boat like that, only when two houseboats are tied together and everyone wants to go watch for a quick set, I don't usually say no and I should.

I think my son is done for the year for comps with his knee. He's still motivated to go since he's met a novice female rider.

It's a rough job, but someone's got to do it.
