Im lost without the PW thread!!!!

I'm just a wee bit frustrated today. The friends joining us today wanted a little later start because the husband had worked the night shift. So we didn't meet at the marina until 8:00. Forecast had called for extremely light winds until after noon, but a stiff breeze met us at the marina. Drive over to the close sheltered riding area, and there were several boats running on less than great water. So we ran all the way through the narrows to the other basin of the lake to find some beautiful water.

And no one on the boat wanted to ride. Everyone else wanted to just lounge around for a while. Argh!!! After a good hour or so, when folks were finally done with sunning, then the wind kicked up and it was whitecap time.

Did a little more cruising before finally pulling off the water. Just so irritated that we had flat water begging to be ridden for over an hour (even after a later than normal start), yet I didn't get to ride a damn thing because everyone else wanted to just effing sun themselves.

Thats a bummer you rode all that way for flat water and no one wanted to ride! Sorry you didnt get to either.

Finally had my first good day on the water of my Tige today. Water was a bit rough but I didn't care my boat worked.

Tubers and jetskis think that they need to mess up the water that is good for skiers and boarders. Lots of people driving boats and pulling tubes that shouldn't be.

My youngest son and I took to boat to the lake today. We didn't do much boarding, he surfed some and let everyone hear we were there.

My 14 year old launched and retrieved me today for the first time at a private ramp. When we loaded I warned him to tow me out slowly....he punched it, the rear end locked and both tires were spinning!

He got out the truck and walked back to the boat smiling. I didn't say anything, he said "your trucks accelerator is a little more sensitive than Moms Yukon."
