A guy came over to buy my old wakesurfer last night. He said he had a 23' Bayliner with an I/O. I told him, "Sorry, I can't sell you this board" while he read the fine print on the back of the surfboard.
The next guy in line for it took it however.
The luck is gone, the brain is shot, but the liquor we still got.
Fiver, do you live in one of the counties that is trying to secede from Cali?
I haven't heard about that. Are they wanting to leave the People's Republic of Kalifornia to rejoin the United States...or are they looking to become part of Mexico?

Glad you sold it...and glad you refused to sell it for use with an I/O. Unfortunately, he'll probably just go buy another one somewhere else and ignore your advice.
I was talking with a guy once about our boat, and he mentioned how much he loved wakesurfing. He went on to describe how intimidating it is to be surfing, looking down at the sterndrive and seeing that prop spinning almost right below you. Then he mentioned about doing it with his young son on the board with him. I tried to tell him to never do that again, and explained the differences in boats. Who knows if it made an impression enough to keep him from doing it again.

It's a bill to split the state into Northern and Southern OR Eastern and Western California. The bill actually was written by my friend, Assemblyman Bill Maze. The idea is to place The coast from LA north to the Oregon border into one state. They would get LA, venture, Santa Barbara, Montery, Santa Cruz, Sanfrancisco, Humboldt... etc. The other part would get Orange county, around through the desert, and all of the valley up past Sacramento.
Effectively, it divides the state logically along party lines. Liberals to the west and Conservatives to the east.
