This one probably had a quagga mussel infestation in its brain.

Iwndr if it was because I had all of the lights on, never been out when it was getting dark and wanted to test them all, and the stereo going fairly loud with speedset on. I have never had that much going at once. We were about the only ones on the lake, the other couple of boats were lined up to load, and my brother wanted to do a lap on the vintage early 1970's skis, the lake was glass. I first noticed that I pressed the faster button on the speedset that the tower lights dimmed. It was about 30 seconds later that they all shut off.

When we were getting off the lake we were fifth in line to get loaded. It started to rain like no other and hail with lots of wind. We had taken the bimini down so we wouldn't have to do it in the parking lot so we had no protection. It was my son, nephew, and neice. The boys were kind using the windshield and I had my niece get under the helm. Lighting was striking all around us, not pleasant. I just wanted to get off the lake quick. It seemed like it was taking forever for everyone to load. The ones in front of me were two jet skis. They backed up down the ramp, iwndred if they had ever backed before, then they had to go get their jet skis that were tied up one at a time. We were drenched except for my niece who only had a drop or two from going from the boat to the car. A couple of minutes later it all passed but we decided to leave anyways. We drove into the storm and once we got to my parents it started to rain hard again.

We have gotten in several good days of boating. I just haven't had a chance to surf. We have all the funeral stuff today and tomorrow for my grandfather. I am hoping for one more good day on Tuesday before we head home. Surfing is first on the list. I have had over 50 people on the boat, not at the same time and taught about 15 to wakeboard. Man going back to work is going to be tough. Good thing I will only have 2 days then off to scout summer camp.

Guess our launch time this morning has been delayed. Wife didn't get home from work until after 3:00am, so it was pushed from 7:00 to 9:00.

Yet the dang dog still thought I needed to get up at 5:00

Had a successful houseboat viewing yesterday!

Has a 3000 watt inverter installed. Davit, with a West Marine dinghy and 15HP Mercury strapped to it.

I don't think I will keep the dinghy though.
