He's using 2250 lbs to get a surf wake I wonder how many times he's dunked the bow with that much weight up front?

I know, I get a pretty nice wake with 650 in the port locker and about 275 in the bow plus peeps on the surf side

I have no clue what a hip is either... easy enough to find out though.

after a surfing run the other day I was drying off, the wife was driving older daughter and boyfriend were sitting in the back and youngest was up in the bow, She saw a roller coming and told her mom to turn or goose it as she approached it, The wife did niether and gave the bow a good dunk My youngest let her have it

you would think that one with a "Hip wake" would be one with a enviable wake

I would think it’s our water temp up here but my engine temp gauge rarely gets over 140 degrees

Now that I think about it, a Hip would not be good to have in your wake

In your case, it probably has bolts and screws in it.....

in that case it is good in a wake for you

A "hip" in a roof is where, instead of a gable, you hold the same roof pitch on an end as you have on the sides...
hard to explain, but I think in this case, he means there's a pitched section in his wake.
                          Clear as mud, huh?
