Im sneaking out at 2:30. I worked 10 hour days the past week because of this compressor project. Its started up.. and Im bailing early today.

This will be my first real trip of the year. I am happy but also disappointed this is my first trip
Of the year lol. I also took a extra long weekend off for the 24th of July.

That's terrible! When I broke my hip I couldn't walk at all. How did he get to and from the first hospital to begin with?

I don't know how he did it, but I know that it was a lot of pain. They were out in the middle of no where and after it happened he laid on the ground for about an hour. His buddy asked him if he needed to call life flight. He didn't want that so his buddy propped him on the side of the hill and slid the bike under him and got it started. He had a painful ride back then he got lifted into his car and drove to the hospital. Anytime we moved him we semi carried him and he was in tons of pain.

I figured it would be a long recovery. I have had cracked ribs and they take for ever. My shoulder that I tore the ac joint in a couple fo months ago still hurts and I don't have anywhere near full use.

I've taken the last 4 Fridays off so I figured I better not push my luck, particularly when I've done it last minute like I did the last 4 times.
Boss always gives me a big sigh and says "You know the 72 hour rule..."

(I'm supposed to be asking for time off 72 hours or more before the time I want) - I'll call him up Friday around 10a and say "Hey, I got my **** caught up, lemme get outta here early!" LOL

The 72 hour rule is good until it is slow and they want you to burn your vacation.

Ya I filled up at the Chevron up the street 12300s 3.81 for diesel 31 gallons of it. and I wasn't even on empty has a 44 gallon tank.

I can usually tow the boat to the Gorge (3 hours towing), drive it back and forth from Manila and the boat ramp and then back home all on the same tank. I don't think that will happen now with the lift and bigger tires.

My son landed his first 2-wake jump. That's the biggest trick he can pull in his class. 300 pts.

He can do a surface 180 on the right side of the wake but he's having a tougher time getting one on the left side of the wake. He need to do it on the left so he can get his 1-wake halfcab. That's the second highest point trick at 250 pts.
