I kinda wanna learn to sail. I know a bit about it, but not much.It's not an optical illusion.

See, I know very little.
If you move the boat through a turn where the blowing wind crosses the REAR of the boat we call that a jibe, (ling "I") or Jibing, (again long "I"). I{n this instance the sails can potentially move from one side to another with enough force to break stuff, as the wind will end up blowing across the sails from back to front.
Tacking is good, Jibing can be good, but it has to be done in a controlled manner, otherwise it is usually dangerous, especially on these little rocket ships.It's not an optical illusion.
