Sorry to ask a clueless question, but for those with Inland Surfer boards...
The speedline fins that came with it have a curved side with the logo printed on it, and a flat side that is blank. I assume that the curved side is supposed to be positioned to the outside of the board, with the flat side toward the center?

Also - do people leave their fins in all the time, or does anyone remove them for storage and install them only for use?
The fins just make me nervous that they could be damaged easily, since I don't have a surf fork or the bimini-mounted surf pocket. So the board will have to be stored on the boat.
