My cooler won't drain? Help! And yes I pulled the plug!

Mine will do that sometimes. On mine, the drain hose heads aft, then up and over an opening through a divider to then hang down into the bilge. So, I figure the rise in the drain hose is too much sometimes to allow draining.

Fix would be to drill a hole for the hose to give a flatter path to the bilge.

But....this is on a 3-year old RZ4. Yours might be a COMPLETELY different problem.

there's no way for me to see or get to the hose im wondering if when the boat planes off it opens some valve, I hears you have a lead bar in your boat? Any idea where I could get one, I have a bit of a list...
