I once saw a guy launching a 24' boat with the transom ties still attached and the drain plug out. The boat was fully down the ramp and he was leaning over the transom trying to disconnect the straps. I yelled to him that his drain plug was out (bilge pump discharge was going full blast). His replay was "I just got this thing back from the dealer, I don't know what they did to it", and he continued to launch
