Finally ordered my surfboard. After a lot of back and forth, I decided to get an IS Mucus. It's a blem board, so the price was not much more than a Hyp Broadcast.

If anyone is interested - I found it at towanza.com for only $330 (free shipping, too!).

And thanks to Majestic for some good discussion as I debated my selection.

What's that orange wire off the alternator go to? I should check the other end of that wire for corrosion as well I'm thinking...

Too much of a coincidence that this static comes from the speakers right after my alternator issues, but I'll check the stereo grounds as well.

The oragne wire then goes to the starter. One of these day I will replay to your thread I promise maybe tonight
