Finally got to work on some equipment I got training on back in March!

Guess this machine is pretty reliable! I have a pulley squeal. I wonder if I can jam a screwdriver in that belt?

If it doesn't have a sticker telling you otherwise, then it must be safe to do.

If it ends up maiming you, then sue the manufacturer and spend the rest of your life swimming in their money.

So after I fixed that loose connection on my alternator, now I get the most effin' annoying, squeal from my in boat speakers when my throttle is up, like wakeboard or surf speed. At idle it's okay. I wonder where my speakers are picking up this noise from...

Maybe I should cut off the connector on that orange wire that burned and replace it? I only cleaned it and re tightened it...

Sounds like a stereo system ground issue.

I really don't know that for sure, but that seems to be the usual answer whenever someone has a whine from their speakers. So, I figure I'll sound smart by saying it now.

What's that orange wire off the alternator go to? I should check the other end of that wire for corrosion as well I'm thinking...

Too much of a coincidence that this static comes from the speakers right after my alternator issues, but I'll check the stereo grounds as well.
