I think you are on to something with that Bedliner coating on a trailer Dave, Patent it and when you give it a marine application it will instantly be 2-3 times more expensive

I don't get heartburn... I have a pretty iron stomach.

If I eat jalapenos, I get an arse on fire though.
          Waiting for another good one!

On mine, this is usually the belt. Tighten it and see if it goes away.. it may have stretched over winter. If not, there are some old tricks to getting it to clean up. The one I have seen involves a screwdriver, where you press the blabce of the screw driver agains the wear side of the belt while the engine is running. This knocks the crusty surface off and gives you new rubber for the sheive to grab. It's not really for the weak of heart. The blade gets pretty hot during this.

            Otherwise, just replace the belt.
Ummmm This is your idea of safety first????

Jalapenos are great until they reach that part of me also

My brothers x-star check engine light has been coming on, ever since his impellar dissinegrated... I wonder if like Moki said, bits of the impeller are locking up the water pump maybe?
                  It's kind of intermittent though.

I would think that the engine water pump would push them through rather than lock up, but once the trash has passed there they could be plugging up other areas

                            What's a "blabce"?

I'm driving right now, but if anyone has any questions about truck bed coating, I can probably help.
