Yes - it was a Malibu model. Didn't you ever see the MC youtube ads that compare MC to the competition? Like the one with the guy in an MC shirt that he put tape on it to spell Tige?
Anyway...one of those they poke fun at that boat, calling it a Corbu...and a Malivette.
I have seen the youtube ads but not the corvette. It seems that I had seen the corvette boat somewhere on youtube but thought it was a joke.
Dumb question for the surf experts do we need to be furthar back in the wave? If so I might have to move the rope to the pylon.
You're in the right spot. As you get the feel you will be as close as a foot off the platform to as far back as where the curl of the wave starts to pull your board down. Just remember front foot =gas and back foot = brake.
You got a really nice wave. Good position too. The second picture is too far away from the wave though. Get closer to it, like said, keep toes a little closer to rail and carve that chit up!

I was trying to put pressure on my front foot so I was not being pulled. It worked for a bit. I just need some practice now.
