Im lost without the PW thread!!!!

    Home from an awesome day

    We were at the lake at 8:30 and left at 5:00. Almost didn't go because the weather was looking crappy and didn't want to drive for 2 hours to turn around and head home. Beautiful , clear, smooth water. A nice 60 degree water temp and 66 air. I left my wakeboard at home so I would not be tempted to go. It is a good think because I was trying to figure if I could fit into some of the smaller bindings. We then filled up the sac and gave surfing a try. I didn't fill the sac all the way not know anything and being cautious. To me it was a good wake. I was able to get right up, yes I was not going to just drive all day I had to get in the water. I couldn't get the wave to push me for long, operator error, of the surfboard. My buddy tried it and didn't want to stop. His wife gave it a try as well as some of the kids. We then emptyied the sac and filled up the tube. The thing is huge. I pulled from the pylon All the kids had a blast in it. They didn't want to stop.

    Two worst parts of the day paying for the fuel truck and boat and the long drive.

              I need to check with Larry to see how I can reduce the spray from the FAE.

              Also, before the 1235 and FAE I was turning 5000 rpms and 37-38 mph WOT. Now it is 4700 - 4800 rpms and 34 mph. Is this the prop, FAE, or a combo?

              I wondered how close my mph were and checked them with an app on my evo. It looks that it might be 2 mph slow. I had check my evo with my gps and car speedo before.

              Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the speed or is that a flash of some sort at the dealer?

                      Try moving the down pipe either closer the TAPS plate and then away from the TAPS plate. I used a paint pen to make the starting point on the pipe and the connecting hose. This way i could move it in or out to see what works the best and I new where I started.

                        You could try adjusting the FAE, I don't have a spray issue. My boat turns 4000 RPM's at 30 mph and I have the 1235. Be careful my MP manual says max RPM's is 4600.

                          My FAE is about 1/2 inch off the taps plate when the taps is at 8.

                                Mine might be an inch away. I will have to double check. When TAPS is on 0 is when it sprays when I move ti up it goes away.
