Im lost without the PW thread!!!!

So yesterday was my first trip out with my new ACME 911 prop. Is there not 'governor' or whatever on the motor in the older boats? I'm cruising at about 34MPH @ 4300RPM but I bumped the throttle bending over for something and the tach shot up to 5800RPM.
I had a bit of ring pucker and quickly brought it back to 4300.

Went out to Ming and rode the wakeboard a little... Old man still got pop.
This weekend, I'm gonna throw the boom on and do some footin'.
The boat's running bitchin', and Im excited to have a nice quiet ski weekend with the wife and friends.
