Okay outta here. Gonna go try a fix that an old Suzuki motor mechanic shared with me. I have a Suzuki motor for my 22' sailboat that is acting funny. He says it is a bad pump housing seal, and to open up the exhaust relief holes... He thinks exhaust gasses are pushing past the seal and the water pump is pumping exhaust gas instead of water. Easy fix if so...

I have a new pump housing seal for the drive shaft ordered, but if this fixes it short term, I can get on the water.
