OMG Phil! I can't even imagine being faced with that! My wife and I would do the same thing without even batting an eye. I am so glad that you guys saw this before that poor dog suffered any more. Great job reacting as quickly as you could, only wish you had seen it sooner.

Holy chit Phil. That's a horrible story. Those mental picture are going to be stuck in my head all day.

We had our own dog story for this weekend. Our four year old lab bit our 4 year old niece. Now we have to make a decision on what to do with the dog. Keep her, just kenneling her when people are around, Humane society, or putting her down. She's never bit anyone before, she'll bark at strange men, especially ones wearing hats, but that's it.

I played with mine most of the afternoon yesterday, The Lab was pi$$ed when I was mowing the grass, she Loves eating it and all the while I was mowing she was darting in front of me snatching up mouthfuls of the long grass and glaring at me
