I may come back as a different name, Tim has gotten a few Wakeworld members banned for making comments about WS. I could care less what everyone buys! I buy whats right for me.
Please, give me a break. NuBu got his own arse banned becaue of his attacks on Tim and the Wet Sounds products. he got his gear at dealer cost in exchange for his biased promotion of the product. If youve been told other wise, you were told a story.

You don't have anything to worry about on here. Matt doesn't have a light trigger like Dave seems to on WW.
And, FWIW, I completely agree with you. I have WS because that's what the factory was installing when I got the boat. But if I were building a system, and had the ability to hear other brands, my ear would be the deciding factor. Not some test of dB at distance.
I agree 100% that ones ears need to be the deciding factor when choosing a speaker, but a Db meter at 80 ft is like a stop watch at the end of a 1/4 mile track. Its completely relevant.
