heheh nah no lurkin'... just clicked on the thread cause it had a zillion posts....
I ended up on TIGE because of another new member Duffy. He talked my outta a Centurion Avalanche (same boat he just sold). He pushed me into a TIGE. Thanks to him I bypassed the Centurion experience. Something according to him I guess I didn't need to do...
He said TIGE were good rough water big lake boats...Something that is mandatory for using my home water of Tahoe. Teh worst rough water and red flags' constantly. I can't wait to go out in some rough sh*t to see what's up with TIGE's hull. Please tell it me rocks cause if it doesn't I got a lot of explaining to do to a certain skirt'
I got 44 posts already...100 a week and I'll whore it up ahaha. Wait till summer and surfin every day. I'm sure I'll just be whoring vid'Last edited by MooseX; 05-17-2011, 05:37 PM.my midlife crisis started at puberty and I plan on enjoying it all the way to the end..

Moose - I don't have experience with other brands of inboards to compare, but I think that most of the folks on here that do will tell you that Tige is very good in rough water. Combination of a deeper V hull than some, higher freeboard than most, and the easy adjustment with the TAPS all contribute.
Hopefully you find that you agree, and that certain skirt won't be giving you a difficult time about your choice.

cool. I was attracted to Centurion cause of the obviouse V hull. TIGE appears to be fairly deep most of the way but the stern seems a bit shallow. Nothing like Malibu or Masters' though. I'd never go there..no waymy midlife crisis started at puberty and I plan on enjoying it all the way to the end..
