How or why do they have a tournament if they don't keep score? Did the other team know they lost of just you since you kept score? Is this t-ball or regular little league? I really don't want to put my kids in any sports league where they don't keep score and don't have losers. You learn a lot about life by losing, how much it sucks and why you need to work harder to not be a loser.

OK, off my soapbox now.

Little league - rookie level - coach pitch (team coach pitches to his own players). The league's position is that score is not officially kept during the regular season. All teams play in the tourney, for which score is then officially kept. And, yes, our kids definitely know that they are undefeated (even if it is not official ).

Our coaches kept score anyway, which is actually sort of needed because they are supposed to end the inning after you score 5 runs. How can you know if you don't keep score?

Our coaches have been great. They really spend all their time coaching the kids to be better ballplayers - 3 good coaches working with 12 kids for probably 8 hours a week (including games) makes for a lot of instruction, and my boys have improved greatly. But our coaches make the same argument as you, Ewok - that you CAN win OR lose in life, and you should learn to deal with it. They also stress that it is all about getting better and having fun...but that it is a lot more fun if you are playing well and winning.

That one I'm considering is a 1961 Chanteyman woodie - predecessor to the Grand Banks.

I just have to weigh family time and work schedule with time needed to work on a 50 year old woodie...
