Wasn't there a thread about a boat manufacturer let the customer pay and then help build their boat?

I don't know about a boat manuf. But I posted a link a couple weeks ago about GM doing that with Corvettes. I think it was something like an extra $10K, and they fly you to the factory, put you in a hotel, and then you help build the engine. So...you pay an extra $10K to let an amateur build your new engine!!!

Ugh...a Belgian cyclist died today from injuries sustained in a crash while decending a mountain in the Giro d'Italia.

Scary stuff, some of those decents are hair-raising, especially with the speeds they take them. Sounds like he clipped a wall with his pedal or handlebar, and crashed to the pavement, fracturing his skull. RIP
